I realize the name of the show has some unfortunate connotations...
But it is actually a really great British Comedy TV show about two best friends/roommates and their troubles dealing with life!

The reason why it is called "Peep Show" is because the camera angle is often 1st person and also because the audience gets to hear the thoughts of each character in the show

For these reasons, the audience feels like they are "peeping" into the minds of the characters. To me, this element gives the show relatability because the audience can realize that they share many of the same thoughts and emotions as the characters.
