Simon Leach

Simon Leach is a famous potter from England. He has a great youtube channel where he teaches the world his pottery secrets! When I started teaching msyelf to make pottery after college, I would watch Simon's youtube videos to master the art! His simple approach to pottery and instruction, as well as his calming british accent, made me excited to learn and practice my skill!
Here is a link to his youtube channel and his website

Norm Abram

Norm Abram is a famous woodworker/carpenter from Massachusetts. He is one of the original hosts of "This Old House" (one of Mr. A's favorite shows). After his success on This Old House, he started his own independent show called "The New Yankee Workshop" where he focused each episode on teaching viewers how to complete a different woodworking project. Norm is a great teacher and each episode he would introduce a new piece of furniture and teach the viewer how to create it in their workshop. I love watching the show to learn new things about woodworking. Unfortunately I have not made anything that he has featured on the show, but I hope to make some adirondack chairs this summer!

Tom Silva

Tom Silva is a famous carpenter/contractor from Massachusetts. He is one of the hosts of "Ask This Old House", one of my favorite TV shows! In "Ask This Old House", Tom answers viewer questions about fixing things around the house and also visits people around the country to help them with their home projects! My wife and I bought our first house this summer and I have watched so many Ask This Old House segments to get Tom's help with my own home improvement projects!
